Ming-Hsuan Hsu, a Jazz guitarist based in Mannheim, Germany; originally from Taiwan. from 2025 he begins his study in Muho Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim, Jazz-Guitar Master.

 

Brought up with a classical background, later delving into Pop-Rock and finally settling into Jazz. Blending modern jazz, straight-ahead, and experimental sounds, his music explores the delicate and vibrant balance between melody and improvisation.

He has performed across Europe and Asia, appearing at venues and festivals including the Fill-In Jazz Festival (Germany),  Liquid Bar in Luxembourg, LE BATEAU PHARE in Paris, Brasserie and Stube 8 in Saarland, Das Rind in Rüsselheim, Cavete in Marburg and renowned jazz venues such as Blue note Taipei, Sappho, Dixieland...etc throughout Taiwan and China.

 

 He is also frequently hired as a studio guitarist and sideman for Pop music. In 2024, he's the studio guitarist for the singer Zeyué, and recorded guitar for her Album "Hey how are you".

On 21.06.2024, he played in the Strasbourg Music festival with Zeyué as the opening band.

At the moment, he's working in the "Florian Elements" Quintett, touring in Germany and working on his own trio Project with the musicians in Mannheim.
